Prof. (Dr.) Farzana Mahdi is the Pro-Vice Chancellor of Era University, Lucknow, Director of Academics at Era’s Lucknow Medical College & Hospital, and Director of the Department of Personalized & Molecular Medicine at Era University. She established Era’s Lucknow Medical College & Hospital in 2001 and Era University in 2016. She pioneered the Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma courses in Health Professions Education in collaboration with SIVU. She serves as General Secretary of the Indian Society of Personalized Medicine and Allied Health and Healthcare Professions Education and Research (AHAHPER). A FAIMER Fellow (GSMC, Mumbai, 2013) and Fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences and the Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences (2022), She has authored books including Precision Medicine and Human Health and Clinical and Procedural Skills: A Step-by-Step Approach. She has published more than 200 papers in national and international journals.
