Dr. Kachur is a medical educator with many years of experience in the field. This includes extensive work on clinical skills assessments which are work- and simulation-based, formative and summative. After employment at Albert Einstein Medical School, Interfaith Medical Center and New York Medical College she established an independent consultant practice. Since then, she worked with many institutions and organizations in the US and around the globe focusing on curriculum and faculty development, learner assessment and program evaluation. Her experience spans the continuum of medical education. Dr. Kachur has published extensively and is co-editor on a book on developing and implementing OSCEs (currently in its second edition). She has also given numerous workshops and presentations on performance-based assessments and other related topics, locally, nationally and internationally
