Hasnain Zafar Baloch is a Senior Manager of e-Learning at IMU, where he oversees the development, implementation, and management of online learning programs and initiatives. In this role, he ensures that educational content is effectively delivered through digital platforms, enhancing accessibility and engagement for learners. He serves as the Module Coordinator for eLearning in Health Professions Education across postgraduate certificate, diploma, and master’s programs. Additionally, he is appointed as a Section Editor for the Journal of Medical Education for Future Demands (JMEFD) and has also served as a Visiting Professor for eLearning at the School of Medical Education and Learning Technologies, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. With over twenty-five years of hands-on experience in implementing e-learning and technology-enhanced learning in higher education, Hasnain brings extensive expertise to his field. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia.
What is Synopsis?
The field of education is undergoing significant transformation as artificial intelligence, immersive technologies, and adaptive platforms redefine the process of learning and teaching. The Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) webinar examined the foundational principles, practical applications, and emerging trends within TEL. It offered valuable insights and strategies for effectively integrating technology into educational practices. The session addressed various TEL modalities, including blended learning, online platforms, interactive multimedia, virtual and augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and mobile learning solutions. With a focus on learner-centered approaches and accessibility, the webinar aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation.
